Decortex is Proudly South African started by 2 young adults who have fresh thinking & new innovative ideas in terms of design & business. The furniture industry has been operating the same way for years by just reselling imported products & we wanted to give the public fresh modern designs that can be customised with a choice of fabrics & colours. We also want to take our local entertainment & tourist attractions to international & modern standards making South Africa a place like no other.
One of our aims with our locally produced products is to create jobs & skills development. We would like to see more of our locally produced goods in the major stores instead of the common products. Our initial aim is to develop jobs for Upholstery, Sewing, Framemaking & Carpentry to service the furniture industry.
